She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Hudson and Mary Morton Hudson; her husband Hoyt Archer Whitmore Jr.; her son Jerry Guy Whitmore; and her siblings, Alfred, William Hudson, Mary Elizabeth Daul and Doris H. Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Hoyt A. Whitmore III (Rachel), Vicki W. Jones (C. J.) and Wendy W. Seaman (Keith); her daughter-in-law Gail V. Whitmore; her grandchildren, Myndi Eilert (Chad), Christopher R. Jones, Stephanie J. Caligiuri (Anthony), Courtney M. Jones (Trey), Jessica M. Seaman, Samantha N. Seaman, Lisa G. Witt (Chris) and William "Billy" Whitmore (Kendall); her great grandchildren, Emily-Anne Eilert, Julia Eilert, Ali Varga, Brooklyn Varga, Daniel Varga, Olivia Caligiuri, Addison Caligiuri, Kasey Harney, Emma Witt, Ali Witt, Samuel Witt, Dawson Whitmore and Campbell Whitmore; her brother Melvin T. Hudson of Dinwiddie; and her brother-in-law Phillip Whitmore (Sandy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
