She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jimmy" Hawkins; her son Robert "Bobby" Hubbard; her parents, Emma Sr and John Ford Sr; and her brothers, Milton Ford and Edward Ford.

She is survived by: her daughters, Darlene Quesenberry (Steve) and Elizabeth "Kitty" Wilson (David); her granddaughters, Kristal Sadler (Brandon Adkins), Samantha Pritchard (Josh), Amber Quesenberry and Bridget Quesenberry; her great grandchildren, Michael Long, Brandon Long, Andrew Hedge, Jayce Hedge, Camden Pritchard, Addison Quesenberry and Kari Quesenberry; and her siblings, Louise Brooks (Johnny), Gladys Dawson (Ray), John Ford (Carolyn), Shirley Mayes (Bobby) and Gerald Gramme. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
