She was predeceased by: her parents, James Benjamin "Ben" and Alice Gholson Nicholas; her husband Ernest "Tuck" Tucker; her children, Tanya Blowe (Dennis) and William Jeffery "Jeff" Tucker; her siblings, Thomas (Martha), Benjamin "Benny", Frank (Corrine), Sidney Gholson (Annie) and Blanche Winfield (Mitchell); her stepfather Charlie Nicholas; and her stepsiblings, Dora Branch, Alice Crawley, Richard, Robert Nicholas, Abraham and Austin Nicholas.
She is survived by: her daughter Robin Tucker-Ellis (Andre Sr.); her grandchildren, Deabrey Blowe, Andre Jr. "Darrell" (LaCresha) and Andrea Ellis; her great grandchildren, Malani Ellis and Mariah Walker; her brother Sterling Gholson; her sister-in-law Barbara Gholson; her great-nephew Brian Branch; and her close friend Sidney Gholson Jr..
