He was predeceased by: his parents, Hammie McAllister and Rebecca Sears McAllister; and his siblings, Jeffrey McAllister, Herman McAllister, Raymond McAllister, Albert McAllister, Myers McAllister, Mary White, Rita Fitzsimmons, Rose Alley and Barbara Denson.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Laverne Traylor McAllister; his son Steven McAllister; and his sisters, Nancy Krise of Hopewell and Helen Pitman of Kilmarnock. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
