He is survived by: his wife Julia Virginia Davis; his children, Cordell Farley, Cynthia and Geneva; his son-in-law Earnest Watson; and his grandchildren, Jeanette (Tyree), Tina (Wayne), Linda (Ron), Gerline, Robert Lee (Maneesha), Cordell Jr., Olivia, Brandon, Joe III, Latifah and Christopher. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, 25 devoted great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
