She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Thomas and John Thomas Sr.; her grandparents, Corine and Leroy Beasley; her aunts and uncles, Sylvia Collier, Colleen Beasley, Ulysses Beasley, Charlie Beasley, Freddie Beasley and Charlie "Kizzie" Collier; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Thomas.
She is survived by: her brother Fred; her daughters, Latoya, Christina Thomas and Whitney Jones; her grandchildren, Anastasia Taylor, Dymond Johnson, Jayden Marshall, Denzel Johnson, Lavontae Thomas and Antonio Johnson (J. R.); her siblings, Linda Wynn, John H. Thomas III, Harold Thomas, Frederick Thomas and Terry Thomas; her goddaughters, Ebonni and Brittany Thomas; her close friend Calvin Prince; her aunt Sarah Tucker; and her uncles, Rossy and Earl Beasley. She is also survived by Nine aunts; four uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
