He was predeceased by: his parents, George Joseph Christian Rapp (Chris) and Jeanne E. Rapp. He is survived by: his wife Betty S. Rapp; his brothers, Dr. Robert S. Rapp (Judy) of Albany and William Rapp (Carolyne) of Seven Lakes; his sons, George M. Rapp (Leavelle) of Dinwiddie and Daniel S. Rapp (Mary Marshall) of Dinwiddie; his grandchildren, Miles, Hannah and Ellie Rapp; and his sister-in-law Peggy B. Sturt.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Crater Community Hospice, 3916 South Crater Road, Petersburg Va. 23805 or Bott Memorial Presbyterian Church, 17113 McKenney Avenue, DeWitt, Va. 23840.
