She was predeceased by: her husband William Gye Edwards, Sr.; her parents, Norman Delano Moses and Bernice Gibson Moses; and her sons, Dr. William Gye Edwards, Jr., Alfred Albright Edwards and Maurice Quinton Edwards.
She is survived by: her sister Lois Thompson; her son Norman Edwards of Woodbridge, VA; her grandchildren, Charontá Pegram, Patrice Adams, Norman Edwards, Jonathan Edwards, Janelle Whitney, Danielle Sutton, Dr. Heather Barbosa, Dr. William S. Pintelon, Kim Edwards, Monique Thorne and Inga Madison; her close friend Deacon Jessie Blackwell; her daughters-in-law, Dr. Lyn Pintelon and Gwen Edwards; her godchildren, Simone Flournoy, Brigitte Tanner-Carter, Renee Drumgo and Derrick Bracey; and her friend Christian. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
