She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberta and Herbert Bethea Sr.; and her siblings, Herbert L. Bethea Jr. and Katherine Bannister. She is survived by: her children, Chris Bethea Adu of Dinwiddie and Timothy Bethea (Barbara) of Richmond; her grandchildren, Jessica, Justin, Jasmine of Jennifer, PJ, Mikiel, Dawid, Tasha, Ezra, Yonah and Amaris; her great grandchildren, Madison, Mackenzie, Messiah, Ja'kayla and Olyvija; and her friend Annie Harvelle Franklin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
