He was predeceased by: his mother Mary V. Ripley; and his stepfather Arthur L Ripley. He is survived by: his wife Cindy L. Evans; his son Charles L. Evans Jr.; and his siblings, William Farthing, Shirley Edwards, Sandy Green and Debra Schrum (John).
