It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bunice Johnson of Dinwiddie, Virginia, who passed away on February 21, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ralph and Annabella Griffin Thomas of Missouri; her husband Jay Dee Johnson; and her brothers, George Franklin Thomas and Marshal Lafayette Thomas.
She is survived by: her sons, Jay Dee Johnson Jr. (Darlene) and Brian Douglas Johnson (Sara); her grandchildren, Kendall Williams, Kurtis Johnson, Krystal Matlick (Dale), Kaitlyn Morrissette (Chris), Jay Dee Johnson III (Lauren) and Matthew Johnson; her great grandchildren, Daniel Williams, Jaycee, Brantley, Oakley, Maycee Matlick, Carter and Mallory Morrissette; and her sister Betty Thomas Grant. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
