He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Alfornia Gholson; his grandparents, Thornton James Robinson, Carrie Winfield Robinson of Ford and Virginia; his siblings, Sharon Gholson Singleton and Alvin Gregory Gholson; his mother Viola Robinson Gholson; his children, Jamal Barruck Gholson, Bonita Irene Gholson and Bernard Gholson; his brothers, Jerome Gholson, Keith Boisseau, Aubrey Gholson (Lynette) and Kenneth Hardy; his aunt Alease Robinson Whitaker; and his niece Natarsha Batts. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
