She is survived by: her daughters, Traci D. Dodson of Prince George, VA and Iris D. Bolton of Chester, VA; her grandsons, Jeffrey L. Dodson, Jr. of Prince George, VA and Ian W. Bolton of Chester, VA; her son-in-law Bishop Jeffrey L. Dodson, Sr. of Prince George, VA; her grandson-in-law Marcus Barlow of Petersburg, VA; her brother Deacon Raymond J. Rivers of Dinwiddie; her siblings-in-law, Willie Anna Tucker of Dinwiddie, VA, Annie J. Rivers of Baltimore, MD and James Dailey of Petersburg, VA.; her aunt Anna Rivers Ridley of Chester, VA.; and her niece Iris L. Williams (Nita). She is also survived by cousins, and many other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. L. Dodson & Sons Funeral Est. (25824 Greensville Ave, Petersburg, VA 23803). Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sharon Baptist Church (26804 Fort Emory Rd, Petersburg, VA 23803). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the Dinwiddie Memorial Park (7324 Church Rd, Petersburg, VA 23803).
