He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Davis and Anna Davis of Dillwyn; his wife Elizabeth Newton Davis; his sister Darlene Davis Christian; and his granddaughter Twyla Dale Davis.
He is survived by: his son Anthony M. Davis (Sue); his grandsons, Dalton of Mechanicsville and Bronson Davis of Mechanicsville; his sisters, Betty D. Guthrie (Billy) of Appomattox, Mary Dunkum (Ronnie) and Peggy D. Palmore of Dillwyn; and his friend Pat Smith of Henrico. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
