She was predeceased by: her parents, Thornhill Austin and Lucy Austin of Buckingham; and her siblings, John Austin, Ordell Austin, Thornhill Austin Jr., Reginald Austin, Pete Ray Austin, Lillian Chambers, Hester Kate Forbes and Gertrude Cunningham.
She is survived by: her husband George Johnson Sr.; her children, George Johnson Jr. of Greensboro, NC, Margaret Johnson of Greensboro, NC and Audrey Davis (Thomas) of Lynchburg, VA; her siblings, Clarence Austin (Sheila), Elsie Lee (Houston) of Dillwyn, VA and Mamie Chambers (William) of Dillwyn, VA; and her sisters-in-law, Mattie Johnson of Lynchburg, VA, Henrietta Johnson of Washington, DC and Denise Austin of Dillwyn, VA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
