She was predeceased by: her parents, Mamie Ruth Duncan Oliver and Sidney Toney; her siblings, Aubrey Toney and Barbara Jean Sharpe; and her brother-in-law James Alex Sharpe (Buck).
She is survived by: her children, Edith Sharpe Gunter (Randall) of Blackshear, Georgia, Jerry Sharpe (Jane) of Oxford, Kay Phillips (Jeff) of Blackshear, Georgia, Blake Sharpe (Vanessa) of Dillwyn, Virginia and Donna Linthicum (Walter) of Arvonia, Virginia; her grandchildren, Steven Gunter of Waycross, Georgia, Robert Gunter (Hannah) of Blackshear, Georgia, Bryan Gunter (Amy) of Duffield, Virginia, Brandi Goff (Brad) of Mineral, Virginia, Jason Sharpe (Beth) of Troy, Virginia, Tiffany Hayes (Chad) of Augusta, Georgia, Toni Banks (Brett) of Vidalia, Georgia, Ryan Sharpe (Jackie) of Kents Store, Virginia, Austin Linthicum of Arvonia, Virginia and Jake Phillips of Blackshear, Georgia; her great grandchildren, Brooke Colley (Craig), Ashley Gunter, Courtney Gunter, Dalton Boatright, Madison Gunter, Harley Gunter, Cason Banks, Talmadge Gunter, Mason Goff, Nickel Sharpe, Holland Gunter, Eli Sharpe and Lincoln Gunter; and her sister-in-law Barbara Toney. She is also survived by seven great great grandchildren.
