She was predeceased by: her parents, George William and Margaret Catlett Dean; her husband Robert Samuel "Bobbie" Sprouse Sr.; and her sister Dora Amos. She is survived by: her daughter Wendy Farrar Tolbert (Robert); her grandchildren, Kristen T. Wiecking (Addison) and Daniel Tolbert; her brother James A. "Jimmy" Dean (Sallie); her nephew Donnie Amos; and her nieces, Janet A. Fisher and Sarah D. Litten.
