She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie "Buster" Shumaker and Lottie Shumaker; and her siblings, Jesse, Raymond "Dyches", Julian "Mutt", Emma Jane and Peggy Ann.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Layne (T. W. "Stretch" Layne) and Kim Taylor; her grandchildren, Jennifer Davis and Branson Layne; her nephew Walt Robinson (Mary Ann); her great-niece Marisa; her great-nephews, Mason (Emma) and Michael Shumaker (Sarah); and her siblings, Georgie Browning, Daisy Robinson, Doris Rush (Mac) and Bruce Shumaker (Shirley). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations in Pauline's memory can be made to Dillwyn Volunteer Fire Department.
