She is survived by: her sisters, Carolyn and Jo; her children, Ruth Gossett, Phyllis Lyon (Bill), Bill Bates (Diane), Elaine Pettoni (Pete), Philip Bates and Brian Bates (Michele); her grandchildren, Jeff Sweeney, Mark Sweeney, Steven Gossett, Kim Shawver, Chris Lyon, Evan Bates, Morgan Bates, Kristen Queen, Stephanie Carwile and Henry Bates; her great grandchildren, Molly, Porter and Latham; and her caregivers, Sherry Harris, Bonnie Leslie and Ashley Witt.
