He was predeceased by: his parent Leonard Gabriel, Sr.; his brothers, Joseph Gabriel and James Gabriel; and his mother-in-law Katherine Lyle. He is survived by: his parent Betty Gabriel; his wife Lori Lyle Gabriel; his children, Christina Gabriel, Tara Gabriel, Amanda Gabriel and Leonard "Lenny" Gabriel (Rachel); his siblings, Michael Gabriel (Kathy), Donna Largan (George) and Lenetta Jackson (Ernest); his father-in-law Willie A. Lyle; and his sisters-in-law, Shelly Kitchen (Earl), Amy Benson (Jeff) and Tracy Carter. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Antioch Union Baptist Church.
