It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katherine Rainey Wingo of Dillwyn, Virginia, who passed away on July 24, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas H Rainey and Louise Morris Rainey; her brothers, Marshall and Wallace Rainey; and her son John Wingo.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Wingo (late Rick) of Haverford, PA; her nieces and nephews, Morris Rainey (late Karen), Steve Rainey (Dianna), Page Morrow (Pete), Fred Rainey and Mary Lou Scott (Ray); her grandchildren, Erica, Megan and Cory; and her friends, Eleanor Overstreet, Jimmy, Jane Dunn, Johnny Scruggs, Mary Bartee and Phyllis Crowder.
