She was predeceased by: her parents, Bethel Shelton and Homer Shelton; her husband Wilber Banton; her siblings, Henry, Jerry Shelton and Dale McFadden; and her stepdaughter Tammy Banton.
She is survived by: her stepsons, David Banton and Rick Banton (Jessica); her grandchildren, Tammy Hoke (John) of Darryl Wayne, Banton Jr. (Nicole), Tyler Cole Banton and Kenneth Wayne Banton; her great grandchildren, Kinsley, Jackson, McKenzie Hoke and Esme Banton; and her caregivers, Helen Hertzler, Jane Hershberger, Teresa Ashworth and Tianna Wade.
