He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobert Stanley and Mayme Stanley; and his brother Bob Stanley (Adelaide). He is survived by: his sons, Joseph R. Stanley, Jr. (Linda), Christopher Stanley (Justine) and David Stanley; and his sister Mary Lou Stanley. He is also survived by six grandchildren; one great grandchild.
