He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elijah W. Gormus and Elizabeth Taylor Gormus of Dillwyn; his wife Ernestine Dean Gormus; his daughter Tiffany Nicole Gormus; and his siblings, Wesley Gormus Sr. (Cecilia), Pearl Leonard (Clinton) and Benjamin Gormus (Alice).
