He is survived by: his children, Buck King of Concord, Linda Sue Burke (Van) of Appomattox, Missy Gartner (Kenny) of Concord, Ruth Sholes (George) of Rustburg, Dottie Shelton (Rodney) of Madison Heights and Jarred King (Heather) of Dillwyn; and his sister Mary Elizabeth Jackson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
