He is survived by: his wife Sarah Stanley Sprouse; his children, Vickie Sprouse and Elbon Sprouse (Sarah Armstrong Sprouse); his grandchildren, Teresa Davis (Daniel Davis) and Elbon "Noah" Sprouse; his great grandchildren, Matthew and Bryson Davis; and his brother Jackie Dowdy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
