It is with great sadness that we announce the death of DDS Joseph Bryant of Dillwyn, Virginia, born in New Canton, Virginia, who passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Hobart Bryant; his parents, Richard L. Bryant, Sr. and Verna S. Bryant; and his siblings, Richard Bryant, Jr., Thomas Bryant, Robert Earl Bryant and Kathleen Bryant Jones.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kenneth Bryant (Betsy) and Audrey Maxey (Douglas); his daughter Dr. Kathleen Bryant Seiler (Joseph); his grandchildren, Brandon Scott Seiler and Ashley Grace Seiler; his great grandchild Mary Bryant Shoemaker (Mark A. Shoemaker); his grandchildren, Lauren and Emma; and also, Lauren Elizabeth Shoemaker and Emma Katherine Shoemaker.
Donations may be made in Cary's name to Fuqua School, Friends of Buckingham County Library, and Maysville Presbyterian Church.
