He is survived by: his sons, Ryan Dix of Richmond, Aaron Dix (Ashley Burgess) of Fredericksburg and Matthew Dix (Jordan Whorley) of Dillwyn; his grandsons, Kaiden Dix and Remington Dix; and his sister Catherine Ann Payne of South Boston.
