She was predeceased by: her husband Aubrey M. Herndon; her son Craig R. Herndon; her parents, Robert Louis and Betty Bryant Christian; and her siblings, James Christian, Louise Cilla, Annie Elizabeth Seay and Ruby Mae Christian.
She is survived by: her sons, Bruce A. Herndon and David M. Herndon (Debbie); her siblings, Jean C. Roberts, Gladys C. Connatser and Robert L. Christian (Ollie); and her grandchildren, Melissa, Stephanie, Samantha, Tiffany, Emily, Holly and Cody. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren, six nephews and three nieces.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association and/or Buckingham Baptist Church.
