He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Hall Trent, Sr. and Fannie Janie Whorley Taylor; and his wife Debra Ann Pembelton Trent. He is survived by: his brother Robert Allen Trent, Sr.; his daughters, Melissa Ann Ladd (Doug) and Jennifer Lynn Newberry (Kevin); his grandchildren, Karalyn, Madalyn, Addison and Scarlett; his nieces, Tiffany Renee Schnabel (Stefan) and Kristie Klement Williams (Austin); his nephew Robert Allen Trent, Jr.; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Caden, Payton, Rhyland and Jaxson; and his sister Donna Klement (Bobby).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dunkum Funeral Home (16923 Oak St, Dillwyn, VA 23936). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the Salem Church Cemetery (2160 Ca Ira Rd, Cumberland, VA 23040).
