He is survived by: his wife Gail Carty of Coeburn; his children, James Larkin Carty (Jessica), Clay Carty (Rebekah), Chuck Johnson (Stacie) and Pamela Moore (Steve); and his brothers, Bobby Carty (Terri), Forida, Freddie Carty of Coeburn and Troy Carty (Tammy). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
