She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Mullins; her parents, William Bertie and Ruth Rakes; and her sister Irene Counts. She is survived by: her children, Richard Mullins (Rosie) of Salem, Virginia and Bonnie Mullins Andrews (Jack) of Monrovia, Maryland; her grandchildren, Scott Mullins (Jessica), Amanda Mullins, John Andrews (Megan) and Josh Andrews (Monica); and her sisters, Gaynelle McCoy, Anita Adkins and Lorraine Triplett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
