He was predeceased by: his parents, Cowan Puckett and Stella Mullins Puckett; and his siblings, Kermit, Joe, Clayton, Bill Puckett, Nell Stanley, Geraldine Swindall and Janet Lyall.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Faye Puckett of Clintwood; his sons, David Puckett (Pat) and Robert Puckett (Maureen); his grandchildren, Tiffany Hughes, Zachary and Adam Puckett; and his great grandchildren, Zoei, Gavin and Gage Puckett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
