He was predeceased by: his parents, Bedford D. Woodard, Sr. and MaeBelle Herrell Woodard Guenther; his son Robbie Woodard; and his siblings, J. D., William "Billy", B. D. Jr. "Junior", Virginia Wilson and Margaret Sue Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Carter Woodard; his children, Catherine Woodard Jordan and Chris Stanley; his sister Della Delbridge; and his sister-in-law Delma Woodard. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
