He was predeceased by: his parents, John Crowder and Dorothy Crowder. He is survived by: his wife Mary Crowder; his children, Fran Warren (Matt) and John Preston Crowder IV (Heather); his brothers, Robert "Bob" Crowder (Donna) and Dr. Richard "Dick" Crowder (Jean); and his grandchildren, Quin, Elly, Alice and Anne.

“I was so sorry to hear of John's passing. We had talked many times about our pharmacies and our lives in general. I had hoped that he would feel good one day so that we could go fishing together as we had many times talked about. John was my classmate in pharmacy school and we both had our own pharmacies so we both could have enjoyed the time together now that we both had retired.
