It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Henry Ellis Lackey (Deltaville, Virginia), who passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Marcia; his children, Todd (Andrea Harkins) of Portland, ME and Lisa (Roy Esquibel) of Chesapeake; his sister Katherine Lackey of Richmond; his grandsons, Logan and Thomas; his siblings-in-law, Kathy Oliff, David and Dennis Headley; and also, Madelyn Clevinger and Tom Hamilton of Urbanna.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Zoar Baptist Church (17097 General Puller Hwy, Deltaville, VA 23043). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at the Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery (17097 General Puller Hwy, Deltaville, VA 23043).
