It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa Virginia Rector Hacker (Delaplane, Virginia), who passed away on August 31, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Victor Hacker; and her daughter Barbara J. Foster. She is survived by: her children, Joan M. Payne (Frank H. Payne, Jr.), Mary F. Shoemaker (Richard G. Shoemaker) and John V. Hacker (Cassondra Hacker); her grandchildren, Trish Payne Campbell (Hugh S. Campbell), Bret A. Payne, Carmela Foster Cornwell (Tucker Cornwell), Rebecca Foster Somers (Chris Somers), Victoria Hatfield, Anne Marie Hatfield Viele (Peter Viele) and Barry J. Hatfield, Jr. (Maria Hatfield); and her great grandchildren, Braden, Grace, Ashbey, Darby, Evangeline, Emery and Charlotte.
