He was predeceased by: his father Galen R. Miller Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Nell Miller (Suter) of Bridgewater; his brother Mark Miller (Mary Jean) of Radford; and his nephews, Ethan Miller and Aaron Miller of Radford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren, 5651 Beaver Creek Road, Bridgewater, Va. 22812.
