It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Knicely (Dayton, Virginia), who passed away on December 10, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John S. Burkholder and Vernie Burkholder (Knicely); her siblings, Earl Burkholder, Vernon Burkholder (Betty), Mark Burkholder, Sadie Rodes, Wilda Rhodes (Joe), Beulah Koogler (Paul) and Eunice Beery; and her brother-in-law Ervin Koogler.
She is survived by: her husband Lowell S. Knicely; her children, Wilson Knicely (Shirley) of Bridgewater, Gerald Knicely (Deanne) of Dayton, Lloyd Knicely (Wilda) of Dayton, Stanley Knicely (Mary Ella) of Dayton and Edith Landes (Kenny) of Dayton; her grandchildren, Quentin, Rhonda Witmer (Jordan), Kathryn, Michael, Jordan, Eileen, Shara, Autumn, Alayna, Heidi and Deborah; her great grandchild Brendan; her sisters, Norma Koogler and Anna Burkholder; and her siblings-in-law, Martha Burkholder, Virginia Ann Burkholder, John Rodes and Allen Beery. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
