It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Raymond Hiner of Dayton, Virginia, who passed away on September 8, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hiner and Annie Hiner (Eye); his wife Mary Hiner; his daughter-in-law Diane Hiner; and his grandson Jeremy Baugher.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Hiner, II, Michael Hiner (Kay) and Leslie Sites (Matthew); and his grandchildren, Ben Hiner, Adam Hiner, Liz Brown, Rebecca Knight, Shane Sites and Samantha Bruce. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
