He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Frank, Grace Cofer of Smithfield, Kermit and Willie Green Smith of Ashford, AL.. He is survived by: his parents, James M. Cofer and Sherry Cofer (Smith) of Smithfield, VA.; his spouse Whitney Cofer (West); his daughters, Madison Christine Cofer of Dayton and Macy Louise Cofer of Dayton; his brother Bradley Madison Cofer (Susan) of Smithfield; his parents-in-law, Larry and Ruth West of Carrollton; his brother-in-law Justin West (Shelby) of Portsmouth; his nephew Jackson Cofer of Smithfield; his nieces, Daytona and Delilah West of Portsmouth; and his pet Gus.
