He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Franklin and Ruth Virginia Shank Knicely; his sister Josie Knicely; and his brother-in-law Emory Beery. He is survived by: his children, Donnie Knicely (Chrissy) of Fulks Run, Doug Knicely of Briery Branch, Diane Knicely of Harrisonburg, Dennis Knicely (Trisha) of Brandywine, WV and Daryl Knicely (April) of Dayton; his sisters, Mary Beery and Alice Knicely; his grandchildren, Kendra Knicely, Cole Knicely, Walker Knicely, Adriana Knicely, Allison Knicely and Austin Knicely; and his stepgrandchildren, Zachary Reedy, Sarah Reedy and Jenna Anderson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
