She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Franklin and Annie Thomas (Leap); and her siblings, Elizabeth Payne, Evangeline Van Patten, Emory Thomas, Dorothy "Dot" Thomas, Norman Thomas and H. Frank Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Hyde Dansie (David) of Bethesda, MD and Thomas Hyde, Jr. (Mary L. Hyde) of Dayton; her granddaughters, Christina Hyde, Katherine Dansie (Jeremy Bowman), Allison Dansie Lazare (Pierre Lazare) and Jennifer Dansie (Ty Twigg); and her great grandchildren, Victoria Elsie Bowman, Emma Dorothy Lazare and Charles David Lazare.
