He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Winslow Culver and Annie Bell Elinor Culver; his son Lawrence David (Larry); his siblings, Billie Wray Culver, Genella Culver Smith Forrester, Billy Wayne Culver and Charles Mitchell Culver (Charlie); his nieces, Norma Ann Smith Mauldin and Mitzi Elinor Smith Garadalia; and his stepson-in-law David Irby.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Hensley Vandermark Culver of Bridgewater, VA; his daughter Pamela Culver Goulet (Dan); his grandsons, Philip (Nicole), Michael and John Goulet; his great grandchild Alexis Joan Goulet; his brother James Andrew Culver (Nancy Neese) of Nashville; his sister-in-law Judy Nowlin Culver of Dresden; his stepchildren, Jennifer Vandermark Irby of Locust Grove, VA, Carol Vandermark William (James) of Myrtle Beach, SC and David Vandermark (Elizabeth) of Ann Arbor, MI.; and his stepgrandchildren, John Irby (Kaitlyn), Kyle Irby, Henry, Elinor and Margaret Vandermark.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Lantz Chapel of the Bridgewater Retirement Community (302 N 2nd St, Bridgewater, VA 22812). A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
