Betty Sue Johnson Cupp Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Sue Johnson Cupp of Dayton, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Milton Johnson and Mary Velma Johnson (Price); and her brother Dr. Thomas Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Laura Matson (Greg) and Maurice Cupp (Melissa); her sister Mary Lou Williford; her grandchildren, Hannah Wolfe (Logan), Samuel Cupp (Amy), Grace Matson, Lydia Matson, Jewel Matson and Sarah Matson; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Cupp and Archer Cupp. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Briery Branch Church of the Brethren (6628 Briery Branch Rd, Dayton, VA 22821).
