William Frederick Haley Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Frederick Haley Jr. (Danville, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Rosemary Helman Haley; and his sisters, Anne Marie Haley Atkins and Betty Stuart Haley Scott. He is survived by: his father William Frederick Haley Sr.; his wife Carolyn Hill Haley; his children, Cynthia Haley of Roanoke, VA and William Frederick Haley III (Ricky) of Lynchburg, VA; his grandson William Frederick Haley IV (Will) of Danville, VA.; his children, Carabae Kegeler (Mark) of Hardy, VA and Christina Flippen (Steve) of Danville, VA.; his grandchildren, Rannon Jones (Amber) of Danville, VA and McKenzi Gregory (Ian) of Ringgold, VA.; his great grandchildren, Rowan Jones, Layton Jones, Aubree Jones and Kyler Gregory; his siblings, Judy Haley Hooker, Terri Haley Hall (Phil), Joe Haley, Philip Haley (Pat) and Jeff Haley (Sarah); and his siblings-in-law, Jim Scott, Andy Hill and Rita Moore. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Townes Funeral Home (215 W Main St, Danville, VA 24541). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to God's Pit Crew of Danville, Virginia.
