He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Willie J. Toomer and Adeline Inge Toomer; and his sister Angela Wilson. He is survived by: his spouse Venessa Toomer; his daughters, Avis Toomer-Rodgers (Antonio) of Danville, VA and Adrienne Toomer of Danville, VA; his granddaughters, Gakiya Toomer of Danville, VA and Gakoria Robertson of Danville, VA; his great grandchild Armani Barksdale; his brother Larry Toomer (Nicole) of Danville, VA; and his brother-in-law Eddie Witcher, Jr. of Danville, VA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fisher & Watkins Funeral Home, Inc. (707 Wilson St, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (201 Barrett St, Danville, VA 24541).
