He is survived by: his wife Brenda DeShazor Vaden; his children, Hazel Vaden-Guy of Danville, VA, Crystal DeShazor of Danville, VA, Lisa Vaden, Tammy Vaden, Walter Vaden, Jr. of Richmond, VA, Michael Vaden and Adrian DeShazor, Sr. of Danville, VA; and his sisters, Betty Vaden Walker of Java, VA, Ellen Vaden of Java, VA and Cathy Davis of Danville, VA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home (707 Wilson St, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Shockoe Missionary Baptist Church (857 Java Rd, Java, VA 24565).
