With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Violet Delight Gochenour of Danville, Virginia, born in Christiansburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2024 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Sowers and Perry Sowers; her son Allen; and her husband Eddie W. Gochenour. She is survived by: her daughter Alexis Adams of Pelzer; her stepson Eddie Gochenour of Greenville; her grandchildren, Jason Manasco, Kevin, Tonia Sexton, Antonia Sexton, Brandon Sexton and Lindsey Sexton; her great grandchildren, Madison Sexton, Ariana Sexton, Ghabriel and Avery Sexton; and her child Reese Sexton.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Swicegood Funeral Home (564 W Main St, Danville, VA 24541). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
