He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Newton and Ruby Edmondson Newton. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Gerrie" Anderson Newton; his son Bradford "Brad" Newton of Danville, VA.; his daughter-in-law Crystal Hankins Newton; and his granddaughter Haley Newton.
